Symmes is a rising senior at Albuquerque High School, Class of 2023. She is helping out with the Drugs of Abuse Vaccine research for the summer of 2022. This is Symmes’s first foray into lab research. Outside of the lab, she is interning in the office of Rep. Melanie Stansbury. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, violin and piano, as well as going on bike rides with her family.
