Currently, Shannon is a student at Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, Virginia, studying General Science. She is planning on transferring to a 4-year University to study Biology. As part of the Undergraduate Pipeline Network (UPN), Shannon hopes to develop her research skills and experience for medical school to become a future physician-scientist. After medical school, She hopes to further her research career and apply it to pediatric field to help save children's lives. Aside from school, Shannon enjoys listening to classic rock music, hanging out with family, and volunteering for maternial and child health non-profit organizations.
